General Conditions of Le Mas d’en Haut

Applicability of these General Conditions

• These General Conditions apply to all offers, agreements and reservations at Le Mas d’en Haut / with Paula Ingelse and Willem le Nobel.
• Through reservation or the payment of a deposit you  (re)confirm your consent to these General Conditions .
• Reservations can be made by phone, Skype or email. If there is availability we send a confirmation e-mail. In this email you will find these General Conditions and the invoice of 50% of the applicable price. Payment of this invoice is regarded as deposit. The reservation is final once the deposit is received in our bank account.
• The reservation will expire if the deposit is not received within two weeks after sending the confirmation e-mail.
• The remaining amount is due in our bank account six weeks before your scheduled arrival, without which the reservation expires and charges are incurred as described under ‘reservation cancellation.’
• If your stay is booked six weeks or shorter before arrival, then the full amount has to be received in our bank account within two weeks.
• If you must cancel your reservation, we charge you as follows:

Booking and Payment

Cancelation of your Reservation

1.  Within two weeks after the confirmation e-mail, no costs are incurred.

2.  Until six weeks before arrival, 50% of the price is charged.

3.  Between four and six weeks before arrival, 75% of the rental price is charged.

4.  Up to four weeks before arrival, the full rental price is charged.

• The above applies if the holiday begins at least six weeks after our confirmation e-mail. If the holidays start within six weeks after our confirmation e-mail, then the charges of items 2 to 4 apply. Cancellation insurance is recommended.
• The applicable rate is found on the website www.lemasdenhaut.nl (http://www NULL.lemasdenhaut NULL.nl) and confirmed in our confirmation e-mail.
• Rates include VAT (TVA), tourist tax, water and electricity.
• Specifications for  gîte rental and safari tent are as follows:

Rates

o The rates mentioned are based on an occupation by four people. For an extra person we charge € 50 per week.

o We provide duvet covers,  sheets, pillowcases and tea towels at no extra costs. Please bring your own towels.

o If you want us to do the final cleaning, we charge €35.

Pets

Pets are – after consultation with us – welcome, but unfortunately we cannot allow pets during the high season (July and August).

Departure and arrival

During the high season the fixed arrival and departure day is Saturday, during the low season also Wednesday.  For bed & breakfast you may arrive and depart any day you want. As of 4:00 pm you may use the accommodation. Departure is before 11:00 pm.
